Is there a quota for EU passport holders on Cayman Islands flagged yachts?

We have just posted an update on our info website www.shipscookcertificate.com regarding EU nationality quotas on Cayman Islands flagged yachts..

I was asked this week by a head chef on a Cayman Islands flag yacht which has more than 10 crew and was a commercial vessel if the CI had a quota to adhere to for EU passport holders?

The chef had been told by one of his dept heads that when he recruits for a crew chef he needs to have an EU passport holder with a ships cook certificate.

The reply is from Cayman registry that confirms they do not have a quota regards EU passport holders on Cayman flag yachts.
