These days you have the online world to find a good deal on a shared room, your own room, or a whole studio or apartment.
Where to Look
1Online listing sites — thanks to Airbnb, Facebook, Booking.com and other sites, you can search online for accommodation.
2Crew houses — if you want to mix with other yachties and stay in a crew house, search ai or Google for "crew house" with your target location for a list, or ask fellow yachties on social media which ones they'd recommend.
3Travel insurance — don't forget to travel safe, and buy personal and travel insurance to cover your personal effects and travel.
